Poland has given the world an array of gastronomic delights, which we should be forever grateful for, such as bagels and pierogi dumplings. However, this Mitteleuropa country is not defined merely by Popes and bread rolls. Polish people love food and Polish cuisine is one of the best in central Europe. However although Polish dishes have been strongly influenced by neighbouring cuisines, the opposite is also just as true.
